Next entry: Trees Galore 2015
This exhibition celebrates the vast amount of artistic talent found throughout Lancaster County. Any artist (age 16 and older) residing or working in Lancaster County was welcome to submit original artwork to this juried exhibition, which will be on view from through August 23, 2015.
Artworks by 114 artists were entered this year, including paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculpture, and mixed media. Each artwork was eligible for First, Second and Third Place Awards, which were determined by this year’s guest juror, Ann Geracimos. The People’s Choice Award will be chosen by the visitors to the exhibition and announced upon the conclusion of the exhibit.
This year’s juror, Ann Geracimos is a long-time features writer for The Washington Times. While at the Times she covered a variety of topics such as women’s health, charity functions and the arts.
