The Lancaster Summer Arts Festival’s 44th Annual Open Art Award exhibition, hosted by the Lancaster Museum of Art, will be on display June 3 through July 30. This annual exhibition presents a survey of the visual arts by Lancaster County artists.
Eligible entrants must be 16 years of age or older, design and produce their own work,
reside or work in Lancaster County, or hold membership in a Lancaster City or County art group.
All media, except photography, is eligible.
Marilyn Fox served as the Juror of Awards. Ms. Fox is a practicing artist and currently is the Arts Coordinator and Director of the Freyberger Gallery at Penn State Berks-Lehigh Valley College.
Three cash awards: $500 1st Place, sponsored by Echo Valley Art Group, $350 2nd Place sponsored by Certified Carpet and a $250 3rd Place, sponsored by Novelty Manufacturing Company, will be selected by Marilyn Fox. The $250 People’s Choice Award, sponsored by the Lancaster Museum of Art, will be awarded at the conclusion of the exhibition.
Visitors to the exhibition are invited to cast their vote for a favorite piece.
