Fall 2008 Artsreach Programs

ARTSREACH
Come explore the Museum’s exhibitions and apply what you see and learn to create original works of art! The fall ArtsReach programs have been inspired by the photographs of Matthew Linton and the photographic mixed media artworks of Gail Skudera, on display at the Lancaster Museum of Art September 12th – October 26th.

Studio Workshops
“PHOTO MOTO”
Polaroid Images and Woven Photographic Collage

Motorcycle photographs and collaged photo transfers set the stage for a hands-on, Museum inspired adventure. This workshop will begin with a guided exploration of the exhibits.
Participants will complete sketches from the exhibition and discuss the various techniques and subject matter each artist is using. We will then make our own photographs and use them to create dynamic photo collages.
